Values

Taken from ScrumAlliance. Modify.

All work performed in Scrum needs a set of values as the foundation for the team's processes and interactions. And by embracing these five values, the team makes them even more instrumental to its health and success.

Focus

Because we focus on only a few things at a time, we work well together and produce excellent work. We deliver valuable items sooner.

Courage

Because we work as a team, we feel supported and have more resources at our disposal. This gives us the courage to undertake greater challenges.

Openness

As we work together, we express how we're doing, what's in our way, and our concerns so they can be addressed.

Commitment

Because we have great control over our own destiny, we are more committed to success.

Respect

As we work together, sharing successes and failures, we come to respect each other and to help each other become worthy of respect.

As an organization applies Scrum it discovers its benefits. At the same time, it sees how these values inherently contribute to the success of Scrum and understands why they are both needed, and bolstered, by Scrum.

Love, Righteousness, Relationships, and Sacrifice

We set up this site to chronicle what we think is a better way to live out Christianity. There is an extraordinarily high rate of Christian Failure ranging from high rates of divorce to pastors committing suicide. The purpose of this blog is to share what we are learning about Agile Christianity. Our goals are to:
  • Increase the success rate of those who want to live out Christian principles.
  • Increase the quality of life experienced by Christians.
  • Improve the ability of Christians to have a positive influence on the world.
  • Maintain the discipline of righteous living without the complex burden of multiple rules and regulations.
Agile Christianity is a framework. It provides guidelines for living out the Christian life, but it is up to each individual to decide how to implement the framework in their lives. Agile Christianity will not give you the answer for the questions or problems in your life. However, it will provide a structured way to go about answering those questions and solving those problems.
